5th year Arithmacy -5th years-

Olivia walked into Arithmacy, her books firmly in her hands. She looked at the classroom with a smile on her face. Her badger necklace dangled in front of her tie and button-down shirt. The witch looked at her desk, which was a good ways down the row she was walking in. Liv kept up her pace as she slid into her worn desk. It's maple wood gleamed in the limited sunlight that the windows brought. She wished that a little more sunlight slipped into the dull classroom, making it seem a little better. Then again, Olivia wasn't one to complain, and surely wouldn't now.

Liv cracked open her book, which groaned in reply. She only opened her papers when she needed to, which wasn't a lot. The book also was used, and the previous owner hadn't taken the greatest care of it. One corner was ripped, and the whole Arithmacy text was faded. The book somewhat reminded Liv of the room that she was sitting in, dull and faded. She wouldn't say it aloud, but Liv really wanted to light up the room, just a little bit. The witch took out her homework and set it on the desk.

Liv began to tap her finger on the top of her desk, where her quill lay in a nook. She looked around for someone to talk too, and smiled a little bit. Running her hand over the braid that she had made that very morning. Liv liked smiling for not reason, especially in times that she had nothing else to do. Sighing to herself, she began to hum a random tune.
